'05 STi rear lateral links on the way from a local part out - it was a price i couldn't refuse. they're aluminum as opposed to my steel and have higher durometer bushings. the rear end is quite soft and you really feel it in transitions. the soft and heavy stockers are obviously in keeping with the stock car's intended use but i've wanted something better to tie the rear end up.
the Opensource tuning community is finally on the last leg of development for the next release which will have the logger defintions for my car. i'm really looking forward to doing some very minor tuning/logging and learning about that aspect of the engine. Adam thanks again for being so patient with me hogging your cable.
in other news,
i was on the fence about the scoob for a while now. grass is always greener and what not. truth is, after alot of thinking, its really not the car that had me unsatisfied...its the environment. took it up to the mountains last weekend to do some apple picking with the wife and had a blast and really reconnected with the car, if that's possible. it was just a ton of fun. i've realized i just flat out hate driving in the city, and i don't think it would matter what car i'm in. i'm going to stick with the RS and keep on enjoying the modest upgrade path while putting extra money towards more seat time and other non-car projects.
