well when i was a teenager i was borrowing the parents car because i didn't own one, so that gave my parents alot of leverage (which i hated of course).
i had to be home by midnight and call when i got somewhere i was going or if i'd be late. i had to pay any tickets and if it was serious my liscense was gone. had to pay for any gas used. my dad kept a semi-rough track of the milage (he drove the car every day to work so it was easy to tell i guess) so they'd know if i went driving around all night instead of going straight to a friend's house and not telling them.
any accidents due to screwing around and i was out the repairs and my liscense was gone so that kept me from doing anything stupid....at the time :lol:
