Discount or not its still a lot of parts and supplies that have to be bought, and they cost money.
You have really lofty goals. I get it, because I had a lot of the same ideas... hence the warnings. Do yourself a favor and make a spreadsheet with your goals and all the costs involved (and be honest about the $$ amounts). You might be surprised. A 'restoration' of sorts, even with cheap parts and labor can easily run up $3-4k. Its not much better than building racecars :lol:
If you are dead set on a CRX I have a friend that has one that is in much, much better shape for around the same money - its for sale but not really advertised. If you're serious and have cash in hand I can put you in touch with him.
