Can't say I'm surprised. BMW is a significantly smaller company than Honda so it seems even more risky to sink several hundred million a year into F1 when your sales are down 30%. Still, I would've liked them to stay in rather than packing it up after one bad year but them's da breaks. I think it's rather interesting that they said they want to focus on environmentally friendly goals now though.
