I use a bolt the same size as the banjo, with a nut and a pair of old copper washers (usually the ones that came off the banjo bolt) and just tighten it down (hand tight) onto the end of the line - it may drip a tiny bit but thats it.
If you're replacing lines, then there's not much you can do though.
