I has new tires... got a set of Falken Azenis put on today. I upsized from the stock 185/60-14 to 195/60-14 as per recommendations from Miata.net.
Even in the rain, I can tell they are far more grippy and sporting. My Riken Raptors (put on by the p.o.) were as menacing on track as this lil' Raptor:
