well, there goes that theory. The officiating was still pathetic and biased against the caps.
I didnt mind that the caps got called with some really nitpicky stuff in the 1st and 2nd periods (even though playoff hockey should be and usually is played with some liberal allowances) but then its got to be called both ways. the capital who got blatantly taken down from behind right in front of the ref at the end of the 2nd, then the bad intereference call on a cap right at the end of the 3rd are particular examples that stick out. Bad enough calls that Budreau even commented on them in the press conference.
anyway, hockey is a macho sport so you arent supposed to whine about the officiating.
Chris do you have those game 7 tickets available?
