call me jaded but I just dont see him as that dominant of a player given some of the drawbacks that Ive read in his scouting report. remember last draft we got 2 of the top 3 rated WR in the draft and they havent amounted to anything so I just dont put a ton of stock in that.
I hope Im wrong of course, and both he and Haynesworth are monsters on the line.

I completely agree with you about the receivers from last year, but that was a really really weak draft for receivers and there was a reason that not a single one was drafted in the first round. I think Devin Thomas has a decent chance to break out this year, but I wouldn't hang my hat on it.

In regard to Orakpo, he's too small to play 3-4 DE, but he seems ideal to play DE in a 4-3. Jason Taylor struggle last year against the run due to his size (amongst other things), but Orakpo out weighs him by 20 lbs and will likely add another 5-10 before the season starts. Most rookie DE's don't show much their first year, but I think playing next to Haynesworth and seeing virtually no double teams will help him out a lot.

It's weird to say this, but I actually have a lot of confidence in the front office's picks in the top of the first round. They're usually to dumb to keep them, but when they do they have a pretty exceptional track record with their high picks:
