What cars from the last 20 years will be collectibles?

It will be intersting to see if VTEC, SRT and the like, become the new Big Block w/ 4spd. I mean not ALL 60's Camaros and Mustangs are collectible. The vast majority are desirable drivers.

I think a Miata will be collectible the way an MGB is today, but not the way a 69 Z28 Camaro is. And that's not a bad thing.

Fox body 5.0 Mustangs..ehh maybe if during that era they made a big block version or something to set a few apart from the million others that all got the same option package. (SVO?) Are there any out there that were ordered with a special package that had radio and AC delete or things of that nature? There will always be a Mustang following but I think collectible has a higher standard.

Same goes for C4, they are now judged by National Corvette Restoration Society but even a perfect car is hardly "collectible". As mentioned before, the ZR1, Grand Sports and I'll include the SCCA Corvette Challenge cars may be but the other million they built from 84-96, they will be mostly drivers. Maybe one day I'll regret chopping my car up, but I doubt it.
