I know right! Ducati is going to offer a street Desmosedici in a few years, Honda should do the same. The next gen Moto GP machine is supposedly not that far away so Honda could sell a street legal RC211V variant without breaking the Moto GP prototype rule pretty soon.
It'd have to be pretty expensive ($20k+) but if Honda only sold a few of them, like 100 or 200 a year I'm sure they'd sell out. Then maybe Yammy would sell an M1 and Kawasaki and Suzuki would step up (even though both of their Moto GP bikes aren't so competitive right now).
