I was just saying it's not all doom and gloom. Any of us in this area can probably find a new job within 2 weeks, and likely be making more than where we are now.
Just as a side point for working for a big company..if you enjoy your pay level, etc etc, and just want to find new job types, big companies usually allow internal transfer pretty easily. For my company, you can work on a project for a year (and even that amount of time is just a guideline, not a rule) and jump to something else pretty easily after some paperwork transfers.
