i don't like either deal. we could have signed half a dozen people who would be a better overall fit for what we need with all that money. the haynesworth deal is just ridiculous. only way i would approve is if he is named defensive player of the year next year and we at least make it to the superbowl. all that money for someone who is a "gust of wind" away from being a TO or Adam Jones. the money he's getting is only going to fuel that possibility. remember he willingly stomped on someone's face with his cleats in a game a few years ago? i have a bad feeling about him.
