I haven't run an AV in probably 5+ years... I just practice smart computing. IMO, they're some of the worst things for computer performance.
I'm with Evan. Reimage the computer and don't look back. If you want an ISO to burn onto a DVD, let me know. You'll still need your license key but at least you won't need to borrow a piece of physical media.
