Oh I didn't think about Charlottesville, if you want to drop some mad duckets there are tons of amazing restaurants.

Very trendy seafood bar, this place has the advantage of being on the downtown mall which means you can do lots of other stuff Vday evening.

Kick ass south african restaurant, last time I was there with a party of 6 and the tab was a bit over $300 not including the $60 tip we left.
You should give it a try for lunch as you can try it out and generally escape for $10 or less. I have the advantage of living one block away.
