7. F-Zero X (SNES version is still ok)
8. Mario Kart 64 (SNES version is still ok)
9. Sports Car GT (a much better sim than GT3, but I haven't played it much for some reason)
10. LeMans 24 Hours
I'm leaving out a lot of "fun" racing games that I'll play with my brother for hours when I visit the family, or against other friends just because that's what they have, but there's not really anything redeeming about them. And top down racers are fun too, but I consider them in a different category and generally don't get hooked and play them for hours by myself.
