The new MacBooks are pretty nice. I'm glad they finally put the backlit keyboard on the small laptops. Well, on the $1599 model anyway. The LED screens are brighter (I always thought the white/black MBs had dim screens) and should not dim over the years.
The multi-touch pad is cool once you get used to the swipe motions. I keep trying to demo the "rotate" motion for photos to customers, and inadvertently zoom in/out.
I think build quality is way up on the older laptops. The whole "brick" construction process is a huge advantage and feels much sturdier.
