+11 on 90-93 Accord. We put 100k on our 5-spd one, now the coworker I sold it to is over 200k and still kicking. He also hit a deer with it and it barely shows. It has needed almost 0 maintenance in that time, it just got the minimum preventative things in my care, as well as 12-15k oil changes. And I think he recently replaced a fuel pump relay.
I don't know why you'd be given such a hard time, getting kicked off the parent's insurance is a right of passage! :lol:
