I have purchased many cars that were similar. I have always believed that there is an ass for every seat. I have never suffered dramatically from any of my rare car purchases. The most I ever considered a loss was when I spent a summer building up a 360 ci race motor for my 73 Dodge Challenger, then sold it 1 year later and included that built motor in the deal. If I would have held a couple more years I would have doubled my money. I did however have a blast blowing away those pesky 5.0 Mustangs......so I call it a good deal.
You will regret not doing things like this when you get to be my age. Too much stuff going on in life to really enjoy these types of toys.
My advise is do it while you can. You can use my open trailer if you want.(you will have to let me drive it though, call it "rent")

"Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience."
