I pulled the trigger and got a pioneer avic Z2 and the sirius direct connect. Got it from Tweeter as they are going out of business so I got it for a ridiculous price that I couldnt refuse. Plus its from a real dealer so they(pioneer) will honor the manufacturer warranty.
The Z2 cant do the simple 2-wire bypass but there is a software update you can do plus the 2-wire bypass, so I should be able to take care of it fairly easily when I install it. Have to wait for the car to run...first...lol
