right, I know what the Assulat Weapons Ban was, but from what I understand (and I may have it wrong since I'm not a gun owner) is that the ban was essentially a joke. If you wanted an AK, you could still get an AK. Didn't gun manufacturers essentially change around a thing or two to make their guns not meet the definition of assualt weapon but it was essentially the same gun it was replacing?
