Do you guys think OB as president will lower crimes or influence the unmotivated to get out there and work hard. Because he has shown that he was able to reach the highest office from modest beginnings, and a broken home?

I am thinking Million Man March and Millions More March where an oral committment was made, and a lot of those promises did not seem to come to fruition. Just thinking out loud. Could that be the same case, as after his first 100 days?

He's not president yet. I was disappointed that Bush was elected president at first, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I was even with him on Sept 11. It was when he decided to invade Iraq that he first lost me. Evan, you seem to feel the same way about Obama. Hopefully, he won't disappoint.
