If you like scotch you'll probably like bourbon too, pick up some knob creek or bookers.
If you want some great scotch for a reasonable price, look for Highland Park 12yr - around $45 or so. Great value. Also picked up the Balvenie 15yr. for my father-in-law - I was quite impressed.
As for bourbon, I really like Woodford Reserve - much more palatable to me than other bourbons.
