Other than the media frenzy I can't really say I feel affected by any of this. I rent, don't have a huge stock portfolio and don't have enough money in the bank to worry about losing it :dunno:

Exactly. And you probably aren't. But you might be able to see how homeowners with family and savings and some hope of retirement, based on what they THOUGHT were sound investments might be!
