i've known my girlfriend for 5 years, and been friends with her for 4. try talking to girls you met in high school/college that you were pretty good friends with. those are the people that you know best and that will most likely end up having a decent relationship with. other than that, you can always meet cool people at parties/bars, but like others have said that's really hit or miss.
