This is how a proper set up should be done, not the jbweld jobs done on most dsm engines, and this is how I would do it, IF I were to do it. But I still hear of plenty of problems wayyyyy more than belts breaking. A belt should not break unless its defective, improperly tensioned(installed) or gets oil/rubbing/other improper installation problems. Id rather get as much vibration out of a motor as possible, why I got my engine blueprinted and balanced, and will be getting a fucking 400 dollar ATI harmonic dampener for it.
