dammit Ive got a lot of hating to catch up on.
Not sure why anyone is surprised by this. Apple has always historically exerted tight control over everything in their product cycle. Proprietary non-upgradable hardware, closed proprietary standards, etc etc. Which leads into one of my biggest problems with fanbois and the tech community at large, Apple is given a double standard where MS or a less stylish company would be railed for the same business practices.
Of course they are going to keep you from doign anything you want with your phone. Next up I imagine all of the "pwned" phones are going to get....pwned.
