H22A's have a Fiber Reinforced Matrix (FRM) liners plus narrow ring lands which means anything over 8 lbs of boost will blow your rings. But that really won't be an issue cause you won't be able to fit any turbo kit into the hatch. The owner of Evolution Autosports in Chantilly use to have one but it was all fabbed up by his guys. I remember the radiator support had to be cut and welded farther up the car. When I said suspension modifications earlier, I meant not just shocks and springs, I meant Lower Control Arms, poly bushings, and I think the factory sway won't work. Some other crap too. I'm sorry to sound some adamantly against the H22A Hatch, but I've thought about that too at one point.

H22 in a hatch creates quite a few issues, with mounts, clearances, the shifter, the wiring, etc. Rebuilding a H22 is expensive due to the FRM sleeves and cannot be bored more than .020" over. 4th gen gearboxes are good, but nearly impossible to find and the synchros suck for track use.

The swaybars, LCA's, bushings do not require modification... Its more weight up front (about 85 lbs over a b18, over 100 lbs over a D16) so you need to set up the suspension around that. I dont know about the boost issue, but due to the FRM sleeves the rings are soft so I could see it being a problem - but I dont have any experience with it so I cant say one way or the other.

If you can make it work, I'm sure its a great setup, but IMHO its not worth the expense and hassle.
