I've been looking into options to open up the exhaust on this car. Unfortunately the only aftermarket options (there are only like 2 or 3) are really ricey and just don't sound good from the clips I've listed to. However, I found a "staged" (made me LoL) system that is cheap and I think sounds pretty good. Here's the original thread, scroll down to the last post:

Note that there are several test videos. The OP put up a video of his stage 3 exhaust and I personally think it sounds like garbage. The TBE on my old WRX had a Magnaflow muffler and I REALLY liked that sound so I may go with the stage 2 idea with the Magnapack resonator. Here are a few videos from that post of the sound:

Total cost of $150 max? What do you guys think? I found that resonator for about $50 shipped online.
