my co-worker's '99 GS FS for $1900. I'm not bothering creating a FS thread because he's already got 3 people coming to look at it tonight.... it's likely to be gone! I wish I had an excuse to buy it, I've helped him work on it and know it's in pretty good shape now.

Ok, well I HAVE prepared 10 year old cars for the track. Part of the reason I switched to 20 year old cars was that the list wasn't any different. To get an economy car as trackable as an economy bike, it takes springs, shocks, bushings, brakes, tires, harnesses, seats, and likely some other modifications to cooling or oil system related problem that stems from compromises made for street use. And there's a lot more maintenance to be done, more fluids, more hoses, more crap that might break.
I will make a roundel out of my headlight for this weekend, just for you. :lol:

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a van is a good guy with a van
