I'm not familiar with Civics; do they use H4 Hi/Low's? Is there a wattage printed on the ballast? I noticed that the guy didn't have one in his description. I've been interested in HIDs for the DRZ for a while, in the interest of cutting electricity consumption, but so far I haven't found anything I'm quite happy with.
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.
