the HIDs came in. i'm pretty impressed for the price ($140 shipped). nice build quality, they work, and customer service was great.
i have yet to drive the car in the dark of night, but at dusk the output was greatly improved. i also lit up my garage at night and could see things... so that's a step up.
installation was a snap. the instructions, unfortunately, need a lot of work, but anyone with half a brain could look at everything included and figure it out. the fasteners that came with the kit were also made of some of the worst metal i've ever seen. i ripped the head off one of the bolts at the first sign of resistance. i then used some piece of shit bolts that came in a miscellaneous pack at advance and had no problems.
if you've got a car like mine with awful stock headlights and/or the car is so low that aiming your stockers as high as they can go still doesn't illuminate anything i've run with my high beams on for years and not once has anyone flashed back at me... i regularly got flashes for the s2000s low beams), i'd highly recommend grabbing a kit. i had the whole shebang installed and secured in under 45 minutes.
