Last time I used a mac there were cardinal usability sins all over the place... The new imac keyboard makes my wrists hurt just looking at them and let us not forget the hockey puck mouse!

When's the last time you used a Mac? Back in the hockey puck days? I didn't even like Macs back then. The new keyboards take getting used to... zazzit. It took me a couple of days (just like any new laptop keyboard).

The hockey puck was just an example that apple values style over usability, not when I last used a mac. My overall point is that apple is not forging ahead with usability advancements at all costs, they are primarily concerned with style and marketing. Which isnt necessarily a bad thing depending on your opinion, but it is a fact.
Ive spent some time with OSX but admittedly not a ton. Im sure a lot of stuff is one of those "once you get used to it" things, but isnt good usability supposed to be able to pick something up and not have to get used to it?

I said they're about to take over. it was an overstatement... but they are about to make a dent. In a month, they're releasing all of that.

good to hear, the biz phone market needs more competition. (although isnt it the mac kids that rag on windows for incomplete initial releases? )Ive been waiting for a substantially better winmo phone to replace my 2 year old 8525 but it just doesnt exist yet.

Great, I bought my cousin a $500 compaq that was great too. I'm not arguing the price point.. It's like saying, I bought this great civic for my 8 hour drive every day that does what that Lexus does. That lexus SUCKS. All it does is cost more, take more gas, and look pretty. Who'd want something like that?!

but to be fair, you used to a cheap compaq laptop in a previous post to say how much windows sucks!
