Funny story... In college, a buddy of mine "broke up" with a girl via email. They weren't really dating, but they'd had sex a half dozen times and he wanted her to stop coming to our apartment. She didn't check her email before coming over with friends that night and kept asking us why he was avoiding her (we didn't know he sent it). It wasn't until the next day she read the email and knew why.
