For trap, yeah...you're right. But I definitely prefer my auto to my pump for doubles.
I've done mostly 5 stand and used an over/under but I see plenty of people who shoot pump. Now I'm sure it takes a bit more practice but I don't think it's a severe handycap.
Why do pumps even exist, honestly? I mean if they're really not that good for anything other than the sound, why do people buy them?
