Random data point: I'm very conscious of staying below 80 nowadays. Does that make me any safer? 
hrug: I feel perfectly safe up to about 90 with slower traffic around me and I'm quite certain that at 90mph, I'm in more control than any SUV at 75, but that is neither here nor there...
