no, thats just the general rule they have at my drag strip. Runnin in the 12's you need a helmet and you are supposed to have a rollcage. They don't really enforce it, but thats what they told me. When you are runnin fast enough to require one (whatever the time may be) from my experience they won't let you by with just a rollbar.

Damn boy, you really need to quit listening to those redneck dumbshits at the local quarter mile. If its a track worth a shit they will follow the NHRA rules.
