The bike almost didn't start...

So far, I've been relatively unimpressed with Odyssey's products. The BMW has a PC680 battery in it; it was ~20 degrees this morning and it had a very hard time getting the bike started. I was afraid, for a minute, that it wasn't going to start. I'm sure some of the hard-starting had to do with everything else being so cold, but the battery seemed to be struggling. My friend Paul was using a PC680 for a while in his Accord and it died a lot sooner than I think a traditional battery would have. Another friend, Alex, has been using a PC310 in his 600 and it let him down in traffic sooner that I would have thought it should.

I really like the idea of dry cell batteries. They're supposed to be impervious to the cold, deliver reeally high cold cranking amps, maintain high output longer than their liquid filled counterparts, and overall just Not Suck. Does anybody have experience with other brands of dry or gel cells that is better than mine has been? I really can't afford to be stuck at home becauseI couldn't get my stuff to start.
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.
