It's too late, but for spring, I may try my hand at the cookoff. Some guys at my dad's work have some chili peppers that were grown from seeds found in clay pots of mayan ruins or some crap.

any chump can put a bunch of habaneros in a pot with meat (habaneros have the highest content of capseacin btw) and make it inedible.
the trick is getting it just hot enough to eat and tasty at the same time.
