Great thread Scott! I have read a few websites on hypermiling and turning your car off while stopped seems to work.
I keep pretty copious track of mileage, and it has indeed dropped the past few months. I think the ambient temperature outside has something to do with that.
I have also noticed that generally I get better mileage on the tank filled with Shell as opposed to the Costco gas. Manassas also seems to be the cheapest in the area as well.
I go to virginiagasprices.com pretty much daily.
