He's currently in a coma the last I heard after surgery from taking a bullet in his femoral artery.

shit, I had hoped that was an induced coma but the report above doesnt make it sound like it.

His blood pressure likely dropped because of bleeding and he progressed into cardiogenic shock. The heart basically had no blood to pump to all the vital organs that need huge amounts of oxygen. First aid needed would be; stopping the bleed, oxygen administration, fluid support (IV), and get him to the hospital STAT.
