Well, sure enough the old fluid was well past its time to be replaced. To tell you the truth I didn't really know what to look for when it came to the fluid (color and lucidity etc) but after asking around, it became clear that it needed changing. So yesterday I bled the old fluid out and replaced it with some Valvoline SynPower, and its a whole new car to drive. Shifts are much smoother and crisper
