Sprint and Verizon do not share a data network. (Sprint and alltell do though) At least not yet. Data is Sprint's cash cow right now and they are way ahead of the pack in coverage area and speed so they arent going to share for a while.
The new sprint software should tell you if youre connected to rev A.
It sucks only slightly less than the old software. (but at least it jacks your wifi software too)
Since Sprint deployed their EVDO network long before Verizon did they got all the good spots on the existing towers.
Oh, and I think they are throttling my connection all of the sudden. I used to get 1.5mb in downtown DC, now I struggle to get 700kbps, and I cant even stream 192k mp3 stream without it breaking up.
