I was in Target running some errands the other day, and happened to walk across a bin full of clearance stuff. There were a bunch of 360 games, and right there in front was Tomb Raider: Legend. It was discounted to $7.50 ... it was so cheap I figured even if it sucked I hadn't lost much.
I'm pleasantly surprised! The movement vs. camera movement isn't very good, you're constantly fighting the camera that wants to switch back to a default view just to get better vantage shots in certain situations, but otherwise the game is very fun! It's a mix of action / puzzle like all of the TR games, and I really enjoy how it doesn't necessarily point everything out to you... I like being able to run around for about 15 minutes trying to figure out what I need to do to move on. There's a decent amount of gunplay, cool ways you can kill people including a matrix style bounce off of people that does more damage, and you get to waste guys while riding dirtbikes. So far it's not a bad 8 bucks spent!
