have you ever sat in bumper to bumper for an extended period of time? the vfr would start getting hot after about 15 minutes of not moving AT ALL.

mine's been in traffic on a 95+ degree day and the rad fan was able to keep it under 230 F (fan kicks-in at 220 F). Bikes getting hot is a common "problem", but not to the point of overheating. It's the same issue with cars, you just don't sit on the engine
