there is definately noticable symptoms on my car(s) of going too long without a change.
on the racecar, over 2 weekends with mobil 1 in it and it has low oil pressure and lots of lifter tap. (isolated oil as the problem by changing oil between sessions which fixed the problem)
on the street car, oil pressure and engine noise is also different on older oil. i think usually around 5k miles
maeng i would change the oil after the first of the 2 events.
