Are you disagreeing with the scientific studies linking to drug abuse to mental illness? You're going to have to bring a lot better tech than a cute simpsons quote.
I would like to see the studies saying drugs are causing the mental illness. From your post alone, one could argue that it's possible the mental illness lends a person to be more inclined to abuse drugs. I think that is what he was implying with the rock/tiger comment. Plus it was funny.
