Clutch question (Split from Goodspeed's car thread)

Goodspeed has a 6-puck unsprung clutch in his new car...

That clutch is a little overkill for what that car is, but hey at least you know you can grow into it!

Is that so for any streeted car? The Daytona on its hot tune (22psi) should make around or over 300whp. On the low tune I would expect over 250whp. The vendor who I have been dealing with on my car tells me now that the clutch I got from him last year will not hold the setup...but its really the same set up I told him then when he recommended it the first time. Its a Kevlar clutch, he says it will start to break hold at 300ish. So he recommends now his 6-puck clutch with his new higher grip pressure plate (20% stronger then the one I have now he tells me). Any advice from MM?
