The culmination of a lot of hard work and sacrifice:
#1
So, I mentioned in Derek's thread a while back that I also just purchased a home down in Fort Mill, SC, about 15 minutes outside of Charlotte. Now that Travis is enjoying his new beast, I want you guys to see the reason why I had to let it go, and why I've been working so hard the past few years.

I will be moving down there at some point within the next several months, and definitely before the end of the year. The house should be completed in mid November. I just got back from two days worth of appointments to do color selections, loan applications, etc. Always having the mod bug, I also scouted out a bunch of cool stuff I'm going to be doing to it

I tried to make a Photobucket album or slideshow so you could just click one link, but I couldn't figure it out. Here are the pics of the community and the model home, which is going to look basically exactly the same as the house I bought (95% of the options I chose are the same as the model).

First, the community and the golf course. Regents Park is a golf course community, and my home will be literally 50 yards from the 4th Hole. Here are some shots of my neighbors.

Some shots of the course (the fairways are a little brown because they've been having a drought down there like we have). This is from the fence closest to my house.

Me teeing off. Ha ha ha... that's the third time I've ever played golf, and I can't hit a straight shot with an iron to save my life. Woods I'm actually pretty good with at the driving range, but my buddy didn't have any. Believe it or not, that ball ended up on the fairway it had such a wicked slice

The house. My house is a siding front, but the features are basically the same.

That's pretty much it! Sorry I know that's a ton of pics and is probably boring, but I'm really excited because this is a big step in my life. I'm basically completely relocating and taking a whole new path, although I'll be in the same line of work for the same company if my transfer gets approved. The area is awesome, I'm less than 5 minutes from a huge man made lake, close to the golf course, Carrowinds (like King's Dominion), and more importantly close to good friends of mine. If any of you MMer's are down that way, hit me up any time! I'll have at least one spare bedroom if I'm not renting one out for you to crash in.
