i preface this critique with the knowledge that my requirements for cars does not line up with probably over 90% of america's requirements, so i tried to keep an objective mind about this car.
its like a truck seat in a car, except the seat is hard and obviously meant for someone with the weirdest shaped ass ever. the car lacks power, which i wasnt too surprised about since its basically a nicer stock neon. the suspension is pretty smooth for a passenger car though the roads around here arent in bad shape so i havent really noticed much. the center console and design of the dash i think looks fairly decent. it looks a little too plasticy, but overall, i think it looks decent. however, the actual ergonomics of the controls are way off. i think the only thing thats intuitive is the volume on the radio. some of the buttons are in weird places, the climate control is way too low and the stalks on the steering column is like trying to play a game of bop-it. between pull, push, twist, flick, spin, up, down, etc, i was expecting to get 30 lives. the stalks are way too flimsy to have that many controls on them, so every time i used the turn signal, i felt like i was also flashing someone with my high beams. despite all this, its most redeeming factor has been the A/C. especially in this 100 degree weather, this A/C just wont quit. i've actually had to turn it down because i got too cold, something i dont do very often with car A/C.
