Any motor can develop play in the crankshaft. Please don't try and make that out to be some kind of fatal flaw inherit only in a 4g63 motor.

And Evan, I'm sure those 4g63's that "exploded" were found in an Evo8 right? No, they weren't? You mean they were found in an older car? What? Those were 10 year old engines? And they failed on a hard day at the track?

Apology up front if somehow a Evo8 or late model DSM is actually what "exploded."

heh. actually, they were EVOs. (And guys running OTC should know a thing or two about tuning an engine for a road course otherwise they either arent too bright or have no business being there)
Id need a couple pages to list all the busted DSMs Ive seen at the track
